Matcha Latte … with Collagen!

By now you’ve probably heard about the power of matcha green tea and all the ways it can support a healthier lifestyle. Combined with collagen and a few other ingredients, matcha green tea makes a great (and great tasting!) way to give your daily health and wellness routine a boost.
But not everyone wants to drink a matcha tea straight up. Instead, the popular matcha latte is what many prefer to start their morning with ... or have as an afternoon pick-me-up.
Learn how to make it with the finest ingredients available, including a new collagen matcha powder. It also made our list of easy breakfast ideas.
Matcha isn’t just any old green tea. It’s a high-grade, finely ground concentrated green tea that’s been used traditionally in Japanese tea ceremonies for hundreds of years.
Today, it’s popular with everyone from nutritionists and researchers to health-conscious celebrities — and for good reason.
Thanks to its polyphenol compounds called catechins, a type of antioxidant found in other superfoods, matcha offers a variety of powerful benefits, including its ability to help support increased energy, weight management (in conjunction with an overall healthy diet and lifestyle), immune system health and overall well-being, too!
Collagen is found in your muscles, skin, bones, blood vessels and digestive system. It supports healthy joints, promotes the health of your skin, hair, nails and teeth, among other benefits.
Your body’s collagen production naturally slows down with age, so adding collagen protein to your smoothies or recipes like this green tea latte can help keep your body running properly.
Accordingly, along comes Collagen Matcha Energizer: a multi collagen formula made with 10 types of collagen, matcha green tea, plus other supportive ingredients including MCT oil and clinically studied organic ashwagandha.
The matcha is sourced from Japan, where preparing matcha green tea is considered a sacred piece of Japanese tradition. Our matcha powder, paired with adaptogenic superfoods, delivers a savor-worthy new morning routine and a non-jittery energy boost all in one. Together with MCTs and the ashwagandha, this blend can help you clear your mind and stay energized all day long.
Because of Collagen Matcha Energizer, this matcha latte recipe is a cinch. In a tea kettle or small pot, warm either light coconut milk or almond milk.
Once it's warm, add the milk to a high-speed blender. Add one to two scoops of Collagen Matcha. If you’d like to sweeten your matcha green tea latte a bit more (the powder is already sweetened with stevia), you may add a touch of maple syrup or stevia.
Blend until well-combined and frothy.
Pour into your favorite mug. If you’d like, you can top with a little cinnamon, and then enjoy!
If you want to pair it with a matcha treat, try our matcha donuts or matcha cookies recipes.
